Co-Owner | Aerial and Fire Performer
Katie Herrmann (Katie in the Sky)
Katie grew up as a gymnast and has always loved to be flying in the sky. She has five years of aerial performance experience and specializes in aerial silks, lollipop lyra, aerial hoop, fire dancing and sling.
She is a co-owner and instructor at South Dakota Aerial & Arts and is currently working toward her Master the Silks aerial performer certification through Womack and Bowman.

Kayla Mathieu (Celestia)
Kayla is a powerhouse aerial performer who loves daring drops and strength-based dynamic moves. She has five years of aerial performance experience, and specializes in single and duo aerial silks, and rope.
She is an experienced aerial silks instructor and is open to traveling to teach aerial silks workshops. She is currently working toward her Master the Silks certification through Womack and Bowman.

Aerial, Fire and Sideshow Performer
Ashley Premer (Priscilla Pincushion)
Ashley has been a circus and side show performer for 13 years. She worked as a sideshow performer doing specialty freak show acts and has been performing aerial silks and hoop for 2.5 years. She specializes in flexibility, aerial hoop, lollipop and fire dancing.
She co-owns and coaches at South Dakota Aerial & Arts, owns Vibrant Salon and Vibrant Body Arts and is a regular performer with Veauxdevil Cabaret.

Juggler
Joey Colombi
Joey is a juggling expert with eight years of experience, who specializes in balance and dynamic acts. He uses balls, clubs and rings in his engaging performances. He performs single-act, choreographed routines and ongoing ambient acts.
He loves performing in parks and in front of large crowds. In the future, he hopes to expand his juggling network by teaching juggling to kids in Sioux Falls.

Aerial Performer
Kassie Hoiland
Kassie has always had a unquenchable thirst for adventure and trying new things. Growing up, Kassie never missed a circus while it was in town. She was awed and inspired by the aerial performers and, five years ago, decided to try it out for herself. She has been in love with the sport ever since.
Kassie is currently an aerial silks coach at South Dakota Aerial & Arts and loves to perform!

Aerial Performer
Chris Coughlin
Chris started aerial silks at the beginning of 2022 after teaching and doing yoga for 8 years. Never having performed before Cirka, he found a thrill in sharing his passion and talent with others. He’s currently working to build more daring aerial silks doubles performances on the silks with each of the Cirka aerial performers.
His other talents include speaking Spanish and spontaneously dropping into the splits.
